A New Harvest Service is Coming!

In our last worship night, I loved sharing the story of Ezekiel and the valley of the dry bones. In this passage of Ezekiel, God is sharing some bad news and good news. The bad news was that Israel would be in captivity for some years to come, but, the good news was that God was not finished with His people. In fact, in the midst of a valley that seemed desolate and all hope was lost, God would breathe life back into hopelessness.

Check out this promise from God in Ezekiel 37:14: “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land.”

Praise God for His faithfulness and Spirit that, to this very day, is still breathing life into lives and situations that may feel hopeless, dried up, and wasting away. This is the Good News of Jesus Christ. God is still at work in the world, and bringing about new life in the Spirit that’s alive and active in the world today.

I love seeing things come to life. What a blessing it has been to watch the Harvest community grow over the past several years. Truly, God goes far beyond what we can think or imagine.

On August 21, we’re launching a third Harvest service on Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. This service will be the same as our morning services, but in offering this new worship opportunity, it will free up space in our morning worship times and allow more people to come and hear the Good News of the Gospel. We’re looking for 400 people from our 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services to commit to being a part of “Ninety at Night.” This simply means that, for ninety days, you will commit to attending the 5:30 p.m. service to help to launch this new worshipping community. Attend either the 9:30 am or 11:00 am morning Harvest services and interested in being a part of the evening service? Email me HERE and let me know –> msorensen@twumc.org

The amazing truth? As great as things are now, I truly believe greater is in store. It’s a blessing to serve beside each of you. I can’t wait to see what God has in store.

Let’s keep dreaming, let’s keep praying, and let’s keep serving.
